According to their physical make up, there are basically two types of animals- Vertebrates and invertebrates. Invertebrates are those animals that don’t have a vertebral column or backbone. On the other hand, Vertebrates are those animals who have a vertebral column or the back bone.
The term animal has its origin from the Latin word animalis which means one who has breath. This word is usually applied for the non-human members of the Kingdom Animalia in animal taxonomy.
Interdependence between two species through which individuals of either one or both species benefit is called positive interdependence. The benefits to the individual of any species through this relationship may be continuous or transitory, obligate or facultative. Both partners in this type of relationship may be in close contact; one may be inside some specific area or attached to the surface of the other’s body. Positive interdependence is divided into three major types: mutualism, Commensalism, and proto-cooperation.
More than half of the population of the world comprises farmers. These farmers know that maintenance and conservation of natural resources are very important to sustain their livelihoods. However, the demand of more and more food due to exploding population and higher expectations for comfort and wealth forces these farmers to exploit more and more of the natural resources through the application of modern technology.
India has a vibrant tradition of crafts. Though agriculture employs largest number of people in this country, craft section employs and sustains over twenty million people.
Waste too is found in three states- solids, liquids and gases. Liquid wastes such as different types of chemicals, useless medicines, detergents, pesticides, oil, automobile wastes etc. spread on the soil surface and make it poisoned. Decomposition and burning of things on ground produce different gases that pollute the air.
Innumerable tribal people live in forests. Most of these are scheduled tribes. They depend on forests for their livelihood.
Tribal people of Jharkhand worship Karam Tree during their Karma Pooja. During this Pooja twigs of Karam Tree are planted at a sacred place. The Pahans (Purohits) worship these branches.
Palash or Butea monosperma is an important tree of taxonomic family Fabaceae which is native to tropical and sub-tropical India. It is also found in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Srilanka etc.

In irrigated conditions 80 kg of Nitrogenous fertilizers, 30 kg of Phosphorus, 20 kg of Potassium and 20 kg of Sulphur fertilizers are recommended in one hectare of land for the linseed cultivation.
