Living organisms capable of synthesizing food on their own are called as plants. They contain chlorophyll, the green magnesium compound which helps in trapping the energy from sun. This energy runs the process of photosynthesis through which glucose is basically synthesized in leaves and green stems on combining together the atmospheric carbon dioxide and water.
Sex organs of plants are found inside flowers. A male reproductive organ is called as Androecium and a female sex organ is called as Gynoecium.
When a new plant is developed or caused to develop through stem, root or leaf the method is called as vegetative reproduction. In other words, vegetative reproduction means- reproduction through anyone of the vegetative parts of the plant.
Auxins move to darker side of the part of a plant and cause cells of that side to grow larger. These may induce cell division as well. In both of these cases the part of the plant bends.
Respiration is different in aquatic and terrestrial animals. Aquatic animals repire by means of gills and skin while terrestrial animals breathe in through lungs.
