Man has been keeping animals and depending on them for his livelihood since the origin of civilization. Washermen have been depending on donkeys since long for carrying clothes.
Humans have a complex relationship with animals. They use them for a variety of purposes. There are working animals, companion animals, animals used for scientific research, and animals used for food and byproducts.
Animals could be mainly divided into wild and domestic.
However, the domestic animals that live under wild conditions are called Feral Animals. It is not very difficult to understand a domestic animal from a wild animal, by looking at them, as there are many differences exhibited between them.
According to their physical make up, there are basically two types of animals- Vertebrates and invertebrates. Invertebrates are those animals that don’t have a vertebral column or backbone. On the other hand, Vertebrates are those animals who have a vertebral column or the back bone.
This word is usually applied for the non-human members of the Kingdom Animalia in animal taxonomy. However, the closer relatives of humans like mammals (having mammary glands) have been included in this term. Thus cows, bats, rats etc also are mammals.
In early society, girls were restricted from play. They were restricted inside homes. This was something to do with our social conditions and traditions. But, girls are being given more rights today than they had earlier.
The gap between the rich and the poor has increased due to population growth. The rich people are exploiting more resources than poor people. Malnutrition is one of the most common effects of these problems. The poorest people in developing countries do not get adequate calories to develop their health properly.
An activity that serves as one’s regular source of livelihood is called as occupation
